This page walks you through the experience, from the first conversation and outfit planning to the final gallery in your hands.
A family session is a chance to pause long enough to notice who everyone is right now.

Every family has its own rhythm, and I do not expect yours to suddenly become calm, perfectly coordinated, or unusually cooperative just because there is a camera nearby.
I’ll help you choose a location that fits your family, whether that is a desert trail, your favorite neighborhood, a place you visit together, or somewhere new that simply feels right. I’ll also help with outfits so everything works beautifully together without making anyone feel like they are dressed as someone else.
During the session, I’ll give you enough direction that no one is left wondering what to do, but I am not looking for perfection. We might begin with everyone together and looking at the camera, then make room for movement, laughter, quiet connections, and whatever naturally unfolds.
The goal is not a gallery that could belong to any family. It is a collection that feels unmistakably like yours.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND ALBUMS?
Yes. You will have access to professional prints and keepsakes directly through your gallery, making it easy to turn your favorite images into framed photographs, wall art, and albums you can actually enjoy outside your phone.
WHERE WILL WE SHOOT?
Somewhere that fits your family. That might be a favorite coffee shop, desert trail, downtown area, family home, or a location I recommend based on the light and season. We will choose together so the setting feels like part of the session, not just a backdrop.
WHAT IF OUR KIDS WON'T COOPERATE?
They do not need to. Children move, explore, need breaks, and sometimes have completely different plans for the session. I follow their pace, keep things moving, and leave room for real interaction instead of expecting everyone to stand still and smile the entire time.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
A few weeks is often enough, but fall, holiday-card season, and limited mini-session dates tend to fill early. Reach out as soon as you know you would like photos, especially if you are planning around visiting family, a birthday, or another meaningful date.
WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR PHOTOS?
You will receive a small selection of sneak peeks within 48 hours. Your full gallery will be ready within 4-6 weeks, with every image carefully edited and available to download, share, and print.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Once you book, I’ll help you choose outfits that coordinate well, photograph beautifully, and still feel like your family. You do not need to match. We will build around colors, textures, comfort, and the location so everyone looks connected without looking identical.
